Why I Became a Yoga Instructor

I didn’t become a yoga teacher because life was peaceful.

I became a yoga teacher because I needed yoga.

I needed a place to breathe through grief, motherhood, change, loss, rebuilding, and all the times I felt like I had to hold everything together.

Yoga gave me a place to soften.
A place to come back to myself.
A place to let go, even if it was only one breath at a time.

And that’s why I teach now.

Because I know I’m not the only woman who needs that.

Let Go and Breathe Yoga was built from real life, not perfection.

Come as you are.
Breathe where you are.
Begin again from there.
