Starting Before I Felt Ready

Imposter syndrome kept me quiet for a long time. I questioned if I was ready enough, healed enough, experienced enough, or “yoga teacher” enough to put myself out there. Lately, the Let Them Theory has helped me release what other people may think.

Let them judge.

Let them misunderstand.

Let them scroll by.

And Thich Nhat Hanh’s words on fear keep bringing me back to right now.

Right now, I’m here.

Right now, I’m breathing.

Right now, I’m building something that matters to me. I don’t have to be perfect to begin. I just have to begin.

What has fear held you back from starting?

That’s part of why I’m building Let Go and Breathe Yoga. Not from perfection, but from showing up, breathing, and beginning anyway.
