When Self Care Feels Personal

Last fall, I lost my eyelashes in one eye.

I still don’t know why, but it bothered me more than I expected. I felt embarrassed, and my confidence took a hit.

I know eyelashes aren’t everything. I know it wasn’t something I could help.

But not wearing mascara made me feel less put together, and I missed feeling like myself.

I tried a couple lash serums, and Rodan + Fields worked really well for me. It costs more, but for me, it was worth it because I could actually see a difference.

Sometimes self-care is yoga, rest, or taking a breath.

And sometimes it’s finding something that helps you feel like yourself again.
