Meet Barb

She’s my yoga instructor, mentor, and the teacher who helped yoga finally make sense to me.

I asked her what yoga has taught her that she wishes more women understood.

Her answer was simple:

“How to be still.”

That stayed with me because Barb is one of the most active, disciplined women I know. Stillness was once her challenge.

She didn’t just learn it.

She earned it.

Barb has taught me so much about strength, breath, health, and the body. But one of the greatest lessons I learned from her is that yoga isn’t just about movement.

It’s about presence.

Thank you, Barb, for challenging me, believing in me, and reminding me that sometimes the hardest practice is stillness.

You can find Barb at Results Fitness and Nutrition Center in Edmond. Her schedule can be found online.
